Numerous Mexican sources list his birthdate as 1948. See "The Mexican League: Comprehensive Player Statistics" by Pedro Treto Cisneros and the Salon de la Fama. Also see Baseball-Reference Minors, which uses the Society for American Baseball Research database. Also Japan Baseball Daily gives 1948. So we have Mexican, North American and Japanese sources all agreeing on '48. The only place I've seen 1949 is the Korea Baseball Organization website, from the country where Lee spent much less time than either the US or Mexico. - --Mischa(Talk) 2009年12月15日 (二) 09:51
