MY RAGE, to those on the Dodgers forum calling Chen Chin-feng a career minor leaguer

Let me tell you a story called "Chen and Crosby, the story of two outfielders."
Bubba Crosby
Bubba Crosby is an outfielder, bats Left throws left. He signed with the Dodgers in 1998 played 3 years in A class minor league teams such as A-San Bernardino and A-Vero Beach, with an hitting average below .300 and below .25 most of the time.
In 2001 he played AA-Jacksonville, hitting .302, out of 384 AB and had 6 homeruns. He also had a chance in AAA in Las Vegas that same year. Out of his 42 at bats, he had 9 hits, no homeruns and an average of .214.
In 2002, Crosby again split his seasons between Jacksonville and Las Vegas, hitting .260 at both places, including 11 homeruns.
2003 was his breaking out year. In Las Vegas, he had an average of .361 out of 277 AB and hit 12 homeruns striking out 47 times. Dodgers called him up to the MLB for the first time, and he had 12 AB chances. Yes, 12 AB. Crosby only had 1 hit, struck out 3 times and had an average of .083.
He was traded to the Yankees in the Robin Ventura trade along with right hand pitcher Scott Proctor before 2003 season was over. Crosby played for the AAA Columbus Clippers the rest of the year, hitting .302 out of his 63 AB.
In 2004, Crosby was hitting .276 out of his 116 AB in AAA Columbus, then called up to the Yankees. In 53 AB, he struck out 13 times, and had an average of .151.
Yet he is on the Yankees 25 men roster this year, who had 9 starting opportunity, hitting .277, including his first MLB homerun in a Chen-Ming Wang start against the Orioles, which was an game winning homerun.
陳金鋒
Now, let me tell you about this guy name Chin-feng Chen.
Signed with the Yankees in 1999, Chen was phenomenal right at the start, hitting 31 homeruns and stolen 31 bases in A-San Bernardino with a hitting average of .316.
In 2000, Chen suffered from a shoulder injury in AA. He finished the season in San Antonio with batting average of .277 out of 516 AB with only 6 homeruns. The then played in AFL and at the end of the season, he had surgery.
In 2001, after the shoulder surgery, Chen started from A-Vero Beach. After 69 games hitting .268 he was promoted to AA-Jacksonville, where he hit 17 homeruns and an average of .313 out of 224 AB.
In 2002 he started his season in Las Vegas 51. Hitting .284, he had 26 homeruns, out of 511 AB, striking out 160 times. He was criticized for his high strike outs, but in September, he was called up to the MLB. In his first year in the LAD uniform he had 5 AB. Yes, 5 AB. But that's ok.
In 2003, Chen again played for the Las Vegas 51, despite good spring training performance. In Las Vegas, Chen was hitting .281, 26 homeruns, comparable states to his last season. And this time, he worked on his strike out problem, striking out 106 times in 474 AB. That's 60 less strike outs in 37 less AB from the previous years.
Again he was called up to the MLB several times in 2003, including the September call up. This year, he had 1 AB. YES! 1 AB. Combining the year before, he had 6 AB the two times he was called up to the MLB.
So let's do some math shall we? 2003, Crosby was called up, given 12 AB chances, had 1 hit, averaging .083. Chen on the other hand, had 1 AB.
In 2004, Chen didn't do as well in the spring training. However he was great in Vegas, even though he had to play in the Olympics. Chen hitting .289 through the year, had 20 homeruns, striking out 78 times in 308 AB.
Let's see how many MLB AB he got, in 2004. 8 AB in 8 appearances.
Let's do the math again. 2004 in the NYY, Crosby's second year to be given a spot in the MLB, out of 53 AB, striking out 13 times with an average of .151 and had a combined of 65 AB. While Chen in 2004, had a combined 3 years in the MLB was given 15 AB.
Then this year, where he was given another 8 AB in the MLB, with 2 hits, average of .250, Chen was sent back to Las Vegas and not even called up in September.
Tell me, from these stats, and hopefully this is more detailed than "great" for you, how can you draw up the conclusion that Chen is a CAREER MINOR LEAGUER, and yet Crosby is destined to have a place in the MLB?
Oh wait, I didn't see you coming up with any stats before drawing that conclusion! Just because YOU said "Chen sucks" automatically becomes more legit than others saying "Chen is great"?
